We have been planning our first balloon flight with Skytours for several years.
We hope that it will finally happen in 2024 😉
It finally took place – our first balloon flight – on 23.06.2024.
A gift from Frauke for my 60th birthday, which means that almost 4 years passed between the gift/voucher and the flight thanks to corona and the weather.
But it was worth the wait! Start in Cologne-Bocklemünd in fantastic weather with the largest balloon in Germany – D-OOLA Landal Green Parks from Skytours.
Flight southeast over Cologne to Wesseling!
Of course with subsequent christening – only the certificates with the titles of nobility are still missing 😉
Thanks to Joachim and the Skytours team for this eventful evening! And thanks of course to Frauke for the wonderful gift idea 🎁🎉❤️

Diving is one of the most fascinating things of the world.
I learned diving at Tauchterminal Bochum, Germany in 1997 (SSI)
I dived regulary at e.g. the Tendering See in Dinslaken, Germany
Not really fascinating, but a good practice:-)
Besides that I have been diving e.g. at
Port Bacares, Mediterranean, France in 1997 and at
Inmo Divers Home/Swiss Inn, Dahab, Red Sea, Egypt in 1999!
Some more links for diving information – mainly in German

Parachuting is another sport I would like to perform.
I did my first tandem-jump 8th of September 2002
with Sky-Fun at Dinslaken Airfield „Schwarze Heide“!
Going up to 3000 m height with a Cessna 206 (D-ENWK),
followed by a free fall down to 1500 m (about 40 – 50 seconds).
Fantastic, but much too short;-)
And then gliding down to earth for several minutes including save landing at the airfield.
Thank you Dirk for this fantastic pleasure:-))))
I always felt very very safe – and I guess I will do it again!!
I did it again! My second tandem-jump 1st of June 2006
with Fallschirmsport Marl e.V. at Marl-Loemühle Airfield!
Going up to 4000 m height with a Cessna Grand Caravan (PH-PPS),
followed by a free fall down to 1500 m (about 50 seconds), maximum speed 234 km/h.
Fantastic, but again much too short;-)
And then gliding down to earth for several minutes including save landing near the airfield.
Thank you Tobi for this fantastic pleasure:-))))
Will be continued;-)
